4th of July, 2008

I always say that there isn't a better place to celebrate the 4th of July then in Provo and it was certainly the truth this year. Daniel started out the morning running the 5K Freedom Run with his buddy Sterling. I started the day out at McDonalds!! (Actually, I started out almost everyday at McDonalds and found that about 2 weeks is my limit)

*We went to the parade and totally enjoyed ourselves, which surprised me actually!*

Tanner and Jaxton
Tara, my chum

*We stalked Glenn Beck, who was in town*

Glenn at the Parade, waving right at us, I swear!

Glenn going into Deseret Book

Glenn signing our book while Daniel said, "You the man Glenn."

*We went to the STADIUM OF FIRE!! It rocked this year!*

Nanny and Jaxton

This is why I love Provo, look how beautiful it is.

God Bless America!

Jump On It!!!

July 1st, 2008

The kids waited over a week for Daniel to get there so they could take him to Jump On It! It's an indoor arena with tons of tramps put together so you can just jump your little heart out!

Park City

June 30, 2008

For family night we headed to Park City to party. Park City is one of my favorite places. We went on the Alpine Slides and the new rollercoaster they have up there, both of which were a blast! Then we went and ate at my favorite mexican restaurant La Cantina.

Daniel's Surprise Party

June 29th, 2008
Daniel's 29th birthday was on the 26th of June but we didn't get to celebrate with him because he was still in Oklahoma and had to work until 10:00 that night so I decided to surprise him with all of our favorite friends and family from Utah. While everybody was meeting together at the park pavilion, I took our little family for a photo shoot up the Provo Canyon and then once we got home I walked him to the pavilion where everybody yelled "Surprise." He didn't act surprised at all, he actually looked ticked off but I think more than anything he was totally confused because he had no clue what I had up my sleeve. It was fun, we got to see almost everybody in one setting, which saved us a lot of travel time and lets be honest, we have some of the best friends in the entire world!! There is nothing but happiness in that!

My dad was there too but he was the BBQ master and I didn't get a picture of that. Thanks for coming everybody and being a part of the celebration!!! We love you all.

10 year reunion...

My 10 Year Reunion was great!!! It was fun to see all of my old friends and catch up on their lives. I found out at the luncheon that I am in charge of the 20 year reunion so it's a good thing I have 10 years to plan! I've got ideas swirling around in my head already and I'm actually really excited about it! I think I got the assignment cause I was just a little too excited about the 10 year, which was true and kind of nerdy, but I wouldn't have missed it.

Here we are like 14 years ago as Freshman Me and my boys Chris and Jeff
Except this one was missing...we missed you James.
Hope to see everyone a lot sooner than 10 more years.

I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!!!

June 27th, 2008

I'm not sure if any of you know how much I love Tim McGraw, not as much as George Strait, but it's close.

It was an outdoor concert so you throw your blankets on the grass and watch all the drunk people make fools of themselves, it was great! We fit right in without the beer!

The drunks weren't the only people we were watching, this was my favorite couple of the night, hands down. I am not kidding you, they only got out of this position once the entire night ...

(I could not have fit my hand between them if I tried)

...and it was just so they could sit down like this

(by the way, those Rangler butts drive my nuts)

What made it worse was that he was rocking her the entire time and it was not a soft rock, her poor head was being yanked back and forth over and over again. We got a real kick out of it but I needed some motion sickness medication just watching them. They were with parents too so that just added to the awesomeness!!

Here is a small clip of the concert, sorry about my background singing I wanted you to enjoy my favorite song.

Twins

Do you see why I say that my daughter looks like my sister? I told my mom that Blaykli had my sisters nose the second I got one of my ultrasound pictures printed in Germany, it was amazing. Maybe someday I'll have a kid that looks like me, not that I'm complaining cause my sister is beautiful!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Yesterday I turned 28 on the 28th. I think that means this is my golden year or something like that, I guess we will see! My fabulous hunky husband seen below (in the outfit he picked out himself for the occasion) threw me a surprise birthday party 80's STYLE and it was awesome!! He pulled it off pretty well, didn't act weird until he refused to pick up the kids from the babysitters until I took the leftovers home and put them in the fridge so they didn't stink up the car. I walked in the house and saw streamers everywhere and started laughing of course, and then my friends jumped out and said, "Happy Birthday, 80's style!" I laughed at all of their outfits and then asked, "Where's mine?" Daniel turned on his 80's music and we danced like Napoleon and Deb in Napoleon Dynamite (well some of us did) and then Lacey Carney did some dancing of her own in the kitchen that was hilarious! Thank you everybody for planning and coming and being a part of my birthday!!!
